Juve Stabia has identified Stefano Stefanelli and Pietro De Giorgio to lead the technical project for the next Serie B season. The new president Alfredo Guerri chose the tandem after days of evaluations and reflections.

The tandem for the new course

The chosen tandem brings the names of Stefano Stefanelli for the sports management and Pietro De Giorgio for the bench. Two different, complementary profiles that would mark continuity with the technical path started in recent years.

The choice of Stefanelli and De Giorgio

Stefanelli, sports director of Empoli until last January and linked to the Tuscan club until 2027, represents a young but already structured figure, with a curriculum built between scouting, planning and management of competitive groups. De Giorgio, coming from an extraordinary season with Potenza with the Serie C Italian Cup won and playoffs pushed to the second national round, would instead embody the idea of a modern, proactive football, in line with the identity that the Vespe have shown in the last two years.

Confirmations, redemptions and market

The new course, however, will not start from scratch. Juve Stabia retains a solid base, a seasoned and competitive group that has already proven to be able to stay stable in the left part of the standings. In addition, there will be the return to the base of various players from B, C and D companies. It will be important to redeem some key elements such as Carissoni, Giorgini and Ricciardi. The reconfirmation of Pierobon and Maistro is being sought, whose contracts are expiring, while the reconfirmation of Leone is more difficult. Several Juve Stabia players owned by Serie A companies are in high demand, such as midfielder Correia.
